Transfer Of Credit Hours

a)      Credit transfer is not allowed in the first and last year for the BS programs.

b)     Credits are transferred on course to course basis i.e. a person taking course A at University X is allowed to transfer his/her credits to University Y provided that course A is equivalent to course B taught at the Y University.

c)       No credit hour of a course shall be transferred if the grade is less than C for undergraduate and B for graduate.

d)      Credit hours may only be transferred between duly recognized HEIs and internationally recognized universities. Before processing the credit transfer to UoBS, the relevant head of department and Director Academics shall check and verify that the DAI of the applicant is HEC recognized.

e)      After Credit Transfer to UoBS, a student shall have a regular admission in the Undergraduate program of the Institution and should earn a minimum of 45 credit hours out of a total of 124–140 credit hours.

f)      In case of MS/MPhil Credit Transfer to UoBS, a student shall have a regular admission in the MS/MPhil program of UoBS, and should earn a minimum of 15 credit hours to be entitled for the degree.

g)     The applicant shall meet the minimum criteria (CGPA required) for the degree program set by the UoBS as given below.

h)     Upon the recommendation of the relevant departmental head endorsed by the Director Academics/respective Dean the Registrar Office shall notify the migration highlighting credit transfer while adjusting the grades and courses equivalence as per the UoBS grading policy.
