a)      Probation is a status granted to the student whose academic performance falls below the minimum University standard.

b)     In a 08 Semester Academic Program there shall be 02 Probations.

c)      When GPA/CGPA of a student in a semester is more than 1.00 and less than 2.00, s/he shall be promoted to the next semester and shall be placed on first probation.

d)     If a student does not improve his/her GPA/CGPA to 2.00 in the first probation, s/he shall be on (second) last probation.

e)      If a student does not improve his/her GPA/CGPA in the last probation, s/he shall be re- admitted in the semester he/she was placed on first probation.

f)      If a student fails to complete successfully a minimum of 124 credit hours by the end of the 12th semester, s/he shall not be awarded degree and shall cease to be a student of the University.

g)     The minimum required GPA/CGPA for both graduate and undergraduate programs by each student in the respective semester(s) would as following.

h)     In case of any valid reason / excuse, the period of study may be extended for one additional year (Two Semesters) in all university programs. The student(s) who fail to complete studies within stated periods including extension shall be struck off from the rolls of the university. The student(s) who have been given the right to extend the duration of study for one additional year are required to pay new registration fee along with normal fee for that academic year.
